Several years ago I was in a car accident. In the emergency room, they told me I had whiplash, gave me some muscle relaxers and sent me home. Not long afterwards I started to get severe headaches which were so bad I could hardly function for days. I went to a medical doctor who gave me pills to numb the pain. Then I came to see Dr. Dokka who told me that I had not healed properly after my accident and he began to treat me with adjustments and physical therapy. I first came to see Dr. Dokka over six years ago for low back pain.

When I first came to see Dr. Dokka, I had been suffering with low back pain and leg issues for about 5 years. I had an MRI done which revealed a large herniation at L-5-S-1 and a bulging L-4 disk. I left the orthopedic doctor’s office upset because the only option he gave me was surgery.
I discussed my situation with Dr. Dokka, and we concluded that surgery was not for me. I have been doing chiropractic physical rehab since. I have regained full motion with very few limitations in my life.
Now, I see Dr. Dokka for routine adjustments once a month. I would suggest that you research all of your options before making such a decision in your life, as I have.
